BRAKE TEST
BETTER OVERALL BRAKING PERFORMANCE – UNLOADED OR WHILE TOWING – THAN FORD F-150 V8*
AMCI Testing hooked up 8,900 lb. trailers to both the TITAN and the F-150 and had both trucks accelerate up to 60 MPH and then stop as quickly as possible. The TITAN stopped in 198 feet. It took the F-150 V8 225 feet to come to a complete halt.
ACCELERATION TEST
BETTER 0-60 AND 1/4 MILE ACCELERATION THAN THE F-150 V8*
AMCI Testing timed both trucks from a dead stop to 60 MPH and to a ¼ mile. After 36 runs down the track, TITAN consistently made it to 60 MPH quicker, and finished the ¼ mile faster than the Ford F-150.
HANDLING TEST
BETTER EVASIVE ACTION PERFORMANCE – ON WET OR DRY PAVEMENT – THAN FORD F-150 V8*
AMCI Testing put the TITAN and the F-150 V8 through their challenging Evasive Action Double Lane change maneuver, which simulates an emergency caused by an obstacle in the roadway. Titan was able to tackle this situation at higher speed – and therefore with a greater margin of safety – than F-150 in both wet and dry conditions.
